Nathan’s entire work career has been in the heavy equipment industry in roles ranging from diesel technician to national account manager. In his current Asia Pacific role as manager of rail, locomotive and defence business, he leads and supports a team of account management professionals who are delivering Cummins power solutions to some of the world’s largest enterprises. Nathan is passionate about innovating for customer success as Cummins transitions to zero emission technologies by 2050.
Rajani Modiyani, New Power Solutions Leader for Global Rail Markets at Cummins
Rajani spearheads the new power activity for global rail markets, including technical and commercial initiatives. She works closely with global rail customers to enable their transition to decarbonised solutions in the most sustainable way. 2022 is Rajani’s 13th year at Cummins where she has held a variety of roles including technical and commercial areas both as an individual contributor and leading teams. Some recent highlights include Rajani’s role in the formation of the Innovation Program for Power Systems business unit, and leading marketing activities for the Next Generation engine program for industrial markets, including rail and mining. Rajani has led the off highway regulatory team working closely with EPA and CARB to certify the Cummins line of Tier 4 diesel engines. Rajani has a formal education in engineering and finance, including her engineering degree from Cummins College of Engineering for Women, in Pune, India.
Scott Files, Director – Global Freight Rail Market Segment at Cummins
Scott recently transitioned from leading the Power Generation Product Management organisation to spearheading the Power System’s increased focus on the freight rail segment. Scott has served in a variety of roles, most of which blended technical, commercial, leadership, and customer facing aspects. Some recent highlights include serving on the management review group and leading the product marketing function for a next generation ICE platform, being site leader of the Daventry Technical Centre and the high horsepower diesel and natural gas engine current product engineering and development team, and establishing the new machine integration function while heading HHP Customer Engineering.
Mark Pellington – Rail Account Manager, South Pacific at Cummins
Mark’s career with Cummins began in the UK in 2001, where he spent three years based at the Central Rivers Depot supporting the Virgin Voyager and Midland Mainline fleets. Mark moved to Australia in late 2004 to oversee the introduction of the Bombardier V’locity fleet into service.In late 2020 Mark moved into his current role whereby he not only is the Alstom account manager for the region but is looking to leverage his experience to build deeper and stronger relationships with all rail operators in Australia.
