Due to high demand, the nominations deadline for the 2018 Australian Mining Prospect Awards has now been extended to Friday, September 14.
The Australian Mining Prospect Awards is now entering its 15th year and celebrates the best and brightest of Australia’s mining industry, representing everyone from small-scale startups and emerging miners to large-scale companies.
This year’s event will take place at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Thursday October 18, 2018. Tickets to the event are available for sale here.
There are 13 award categories in total, with 12 open for public nominations via the Prospect Awards website (link).
These categories include the Safety Advocate Award; Community Interaction; Contract Miner of the Year; Contribution to Mining; Hard Rock Mine of the Year; Coal Mine of the Year; Excellence in Environmental Management; Excellence in Mine Safety, OH&S; Minerals Processing of the Year; Innovate Mining Solution; Mine Manager of the Year; and the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The ultimate award of the evening, Australian Mine of the Year, is chosen between the winners of the Hard Rock Mine and Coal Mine categories.
