Red 5 has appointed Lisa Wynne as its new company secretary, continuing the company’s ongoing board renewal.
Wynne will succeed Red 5’s long-serving company secretary Frank Campagna, who previously notified the board of his intention to retire.
Wynne is an executive who has over 18 years of experience in finance, accounting, corporate governance, strategy, risk management and mergers and acquisitions.
She has held senior roles as chief financial officer, company secretary and non-executive director for Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) listed and not-for-profit companies, and provides professional corporate secretarial services for several ASX-listed companies.
Wynne is a chartered accountant, a fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
“We are delighted to have attracted someone of Lisa’s calibre and experience to join our team as company secretary,” Red 5 managing director Mark Williams said.
“Lisa is a well-regarded finance executive and corporate advisor who has worked at senior levels of the mining industry for many years. She will be a valuable addition to our senior leadership team and I look forward to working with her in the years to come.”
Williams said on behalf of Red 5’s board, management team and shareholders, he wishes Campagna all the best.
“I also want to acknowledge the enormous contribution of Frank Campagna to Red 5 over more than 20 years,” Williams said.
“Frank has worked tirelessly on behalf of shareholders. His steady hand, wise counsel and strong commercial acumen have been invaluable throughout the company’s transition from a Philippines gold miner to a mid-tier West Australian gold miner.”
Wynne’s appointment comes after Red 5 announced Peter Johnston as a non-executive director in July, and Russell Clark joined the company as an independent non-executive chair in June.
